Children’s Dentistry

At Dental Group of Magee, we are dedicated to caring for your entire family’s smiles. We are pleased to provide children’s dentistry to keep your children’s smiles healthy. A baby’s first tooth usually erupts between the ages of 6-12 months, and the rest of the child’s primary or “baby” teeth should come in by the age of 3 years. It is important that you help your child establish good dental habits while they are young, including visiting the dentist for regular cleanings and exams. Our caring dentists recommends that you bring your child to our office for their first visit around the age of 3.

We are committed to providing your child with a positive, relaxing experience. Our friendly dentist and dental team will gently clean your child’s smile and check for signs of dental problems. The majority of our young patients feel calm and comfortable at our dental office, but if your child feels anxious, we may recommend nitrous oxide to help them feel more at ease. Nitrous oxide (laughing gas) is very safe and the effects will not last after the treatment.
